Message	While he can go that direction, I would still run race gas for the added protection. Personal experience, I had a track day but was unable to get race gas before heading there. I had my water injection running so everything was fine. But then one of the water feed hoses broke (melted, different story) so I lost the WI benefit while I was out racing around. I ended up detonating and throwing a bearing. Also, WI can run out quick at the track. I usually empty the tank (stock front washer fluid container) before the 20 min session is over. Good to have the race gas as a back up.
